TEACHING WORKPLACE SAFETY AS A SKILL

Learning the importance of safety at the beginning of a career can change a life

Workplace safety is a fundamental skill that must be learned, and will be realized in many other areas of a persons life. By making safety a priority at work, you also prioritize respect for the environment, good health and safety in your life.

OSHA 10-hour and 30-hr Outreach Training

Providing essential entry level and supervisory level safety training in Construction, General Industry, and Disaster Site Worker

The OSHA Outreach Training Programs are vital because they are designed to promote workplace safety and health, and make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights and responsibilities. While OSHA's Outreach program is voluntary, it provides fundamental skills in workplace hazard recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention. The result is a more engaged workforce, and less accidents, injuries and property damage!

Some employers, unions, schools, industry groups and even States are requiring that workers complete workplace safety training before starting the job. The Outreach program is standardized, regularly monitored for quality, and serves as recognized minimum standard for workplace safety education. Attendees even receive an official OSHA Outreach card upon successful completion. Fundamental safety training is the foundation on which positive safe work practices are built.
